my cat's paw is blood stained

My cat Tux is black, aside from his feet and his belly, which are white. he looks like he's wearing a tuxedo... hence the name.

anywho, I came home tonight and he was sleeping on my bed and I noticed his back paw was like a reddish color... so I looked at his paw and didn't see a wound, and he didn't care that I was messing with his paw... so I guess it wasn't hurt.. and I tried looking all over his body, but didn't see anything... I even looked in his ears and mouth in case he was scratching at something. nothing. and he didn't seem to act hurt when I touched him and he let me look him over... the last time he hurt his eye he wouldn't let me come near him so I dunno. maybe there's some paint down in the basement or something. my other cat didn't have any blood on him and he's mostly white with a bit of brown (he has some siamese in him) so I dunno where it came from. Tux doesn't seem to be limping or acting like something hurts.

it's kinda weird. if it appears to still be there or get worse over the next couple days I'll take him into the vet.

but for now it appears like he got into something.

Thought of the possibility your kitty fucked up a mouse? Look at his poo the coming days, then you might see un-catfoodish things in it.
