Could passionflower cause my bad trip somehow?

I had a very bad trip where I started hallucinating really hard and coming to bizarre conclusions freaking out in general,etc. At one point I thought I was going to have to make a run for it and grabbed a bible, bag of shrooms, and my dog. A friend came over and got me to calm down and I thought for a while he was an imposter. he wrote everyones okay and its going to be okay on a piece of paper and told me to read it and try to get a grip at which point I figured out I had really lost it. I am experienced and have never had a problem before I made passionflower/shroom tea this time and wonder if that had something to do with it.

well it does double the effects. how much mushrooms did you eat?

about 2 1/2 to 3 grams and i've eaten over double that in the past without any problems whatsoever. I've also done acid countless times and tripped just as hard as I did that night if not more so and didn't have any problems. I was in a particularly good mood too and didn't expect what happened at all. I was just fine tripping harder than I expected but fine when all of sudden I remember doing things over and over like going down the stairs and looking at the clock and it always said 1 o clock. I started hearing helicopter noises and running around outside thinking the cops were looking for me, etc. etc. I've never flipped out like that which makes me wonder about the passionflower as crazy as it sounds.

yeah you did equal to 5 or 6 grams of shrooms. maois seem to slow down time also.

Saying passionflower tea doubles the amount of shrooms is kind of misleading (or false).
Passionflower is a fairly weak MAOi-of course it would be possible to take enough to significantly potentiate the trip,but I think that is a LOT of passionflower.

even if it double I can't see how in million years it could have turned into what it did. I don't understand it. This has never happened to me before.
