mexican A for sclerotia formation

hello all. I am going to get A Mexican A strain syringe soon and plan on trying to get sclerotia formation. If i understand correctly, it *requires* rye grass seed? Does anybody know the mixture for rye grass seed for 1 quart jars? I also understand it take 3-4 months for sclerotia formation, is that correct? That's a long wait....will be fairly nice and uncommon though.
