dude, "best" game is completely subjective. the GTAs were fun. halo 1 was epic. elderscrolls III: morrowind was pretty sweet.

I remember liking Ninja Gaiden, Freedom Fighters, the Prince of Persia series, Psychonauts, Oddworld Stranger's Wrath and Def Jam Fight for NY... and it's not a game but if you don't have XBMC get that installed stat!

yeah fable is nothing like zelda, though almost as fun.


for xbox, my personal favs were ninja gaiden, maroowoind, psychonauts, fable, and jade empire.

Jade Empire was an incredible game for the xbox, it's an rpg. Morrowind is a lot of fun also, a freeform rpg, more complicated than zelda, very open ended. Also splinter cell was fun, chaos theory might be the best one. Star wars knights of the old republic is also good

I agree with many of the above suggestions and would add:

Need for Speed Underground
Burnout 3: Takedown
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance I & II

I have to reiterate that Jade Empire was probably the best overall game I ever played on Xbox.
