Is crying all selfish?

can people actually cry when they feel bad for other people or do people only cry when they feel bad for themselves?

i figure, when people cry from joy it's because they feel sorry for where ever they were before they got their joy.

is crying something people only do when they feel sorry for themselves?

There are so many different types of cries, I don't think you can lay a blanket statement over all of them.

all i no is that crying is fucking gay
i havnt cried in about 7 years
and my gf cries everyday
its so anoying
but i love her so i must put up with it ><

Well people can cry for others if they're apathetic...

On a side note, if everyone had apathy, there would be no crime or wars.

sometimes tho if you dont cry, you may keep shit bottled up, so in actuality cryings prolly not selfish at all, fact its the opposite as it shows everyone else whats up

i try to be tough but sometimes you can only go so far
