It is fantastic for that medical reason because I don't want to take antidepressants all the time, and it is instant relief. Depression to me is a mindset on one's perception of the world; everything seems different in a bad way. But the MJ helps shift my position and helps me relax.
that's exactly the way I am. sometimes ill get in a rut and start to take things too seriously.. once i get high i realize that in order to be calm and stress free, i need to lighten up and just go with the flow of things, as well as not be so serious.

I cant remember the last time I cried. Last time was when I was a child. I felt it was justified.

My grandmom's health went to hell after a fall too. She was unable to speak a coherent sentence, just moans and other sounds.. it was really depressing. I neglected to visit her because of it, I'm really ashamed of myself for it but it just made me too uncomfortable to be around her. I wanted my last memories of her to be the good ones.

My first time on shrooms, as I was taking a bus home I was staring at everyone's faces and they all looked so vulnerable and beautiful - I was just on the verge of crying the whole ride. And for a few days afterwards I felt the same.
And the most recent time was a year or two ago when my parents were going through a divorce. My uncle brought them together to resolve the messy separation and my mom ended up crying and hitting my dad and both were screaming and yelling. It was pretty bad and I had a long, chest-heaving sob then.
Crying always feels pretty nice, It's kinda wierd, but I've been waiting for my next real good cry. I don't want it to be over some stupid movie or emo "my life sucks" self-pity

Several times a week I'll tear up, most of the time I blink it away. It's almost always out of appreciation or some other positive emotion.
I cry out of sadness only rarely. I don't often get sad enough to cry.
I usually cry at some point whenever I trip my myself.

Yeah I can't really see crying out of sadness. The only time I can really recall I've cried out of pure sadness is when someone close to me died.. that's just heart wretching... beyond sadness. I was severely chronically depressed for years and I don't recall ever crying then.. I was too numb for such an activity. Most of the times I cry it's as a result of witnessing something extremely beautiful in human nature as described previously.. a really moving movie can sometimes do it. Like extreme happiness/joy. Or while digging through childhood memories and coming to terms with my relationship with my parents, mother in particular.. has been quite effective at that. In either case it's an overwhelming feeling of joy/contentment/an emotion that doesn't really have a proper name and crying is like the ultimate spiritual release/cleansing for it. It's a goddamned purifying event. Windex for the soul... or something.
