Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Illogic - Celestial Clockwork... One of the most intelligent hip-hop albums ever created.
Blockhead - Music By Cavelight... Instrumental music from Aesop Rocks producer. Very chilled out material.

CunninLynguists 'Dirty Acres'

ps if you ever watch adult swim when they have their little convo with the viewers lately they have been mentioning Dirty Acres because its awesome. and from the dirty south.

I wasnt feelin Dirty Acres honestly. I only gave it a few spins so I dont want to bash it just yet, but to me it lacks energy and gets real boring. Also I dont like the white fellows voice. Production is nice though.

decent dubstep mix i found online.

mostly US producers, which is kind of a change of pacing with this genre.

on the atmospheric tip a bit too, but it comes with the bass weight as well.
