encrypted messaging?

I am doind a trade with gibiceh, a member on the boards. He would like me to enable encrypted messages to complete the trade. Where on the site do I do this?

I searched and tried to find a setting in my profile, is this feature for supporters only?

My Home>Personal information, email, password, etc.>Accept messages from other users>Secure only

Check that box and hit submit:)

I am trying to enable encrypted messaging as well, but it the 'secure only' check box is only available "for supporters!" ..... anyway to send an encrypted PM with out spending more money that I don't have??

No you're confusing two different options. Encrypted private messages are available to everyone, not just supporters. There's a link to enable them every time you compose a private message:
