Casing is Cool. :)

This morning I woke up to six monsters from my first flush in the casing ready to be harvested...the remaining 12-15 shrooms are all thinner/smaller than the "monsters" but still nicely sized and from the looks of the caps/veils they will all be ready by tomorrow morning or Thursday at the latest to finish the first flush harvest. These six weighed in at 42.4 grams and were the largest fruit bodies I've gotten yet with Mazatapecs. Nice show with casing!! I'm a believer.

Thanks to Anno and Roadkill for the casing-specific advice and help!!

Nope...no camera or web-cam. My casing still isn't as impressive as many of the ones in the Picture forum...but still...it already in it's first flush so far has outgrown my cakes in the Pod. So I'm definitely going to start learning more casing techniques. I was even going to start buying Scotts 3-n-1 Organic Compost that's posted about in the Advanced Cult Forum...but apparently Scotts is no longer producing it...so I may as well just look into a good horse poop source once I move. Since I'm moving into the countryside...this shouldn't be too difficult to find a poop source.
