holes in terraium??

i no that there are many posts about this subject matter but i am unable to find (or haven't looked hard enough) any info on wer abouts the holes should be in the terrarium.. i am using a rubbermaid terrarium with about 20 holes at the bottom litterally right above the perlite.. is this correct or have i fucked it up... many thanks..
ohh and while im here does any1 have any suggestions to increase pinning that isnt dunk and roll?? i am deffinatly going to dunk and roll as the effects of it look well worth doing??
the holes are about the size of a pencil eraser... will having that many holes all the way round lower humidity too much...

I have a hundred holes on my FC. I give it some more fresh air by fanning once or twice a day. Yet I only had great results!

now drilled about 130 holes in my terrarium to let all the fresh air exchange..
is this too many?? i have quite a few holes in the bottom aswell and top?? im assuming that this is a gd thing for fresh air exchange but am unsure if i have drilled too many..
anyway we'll soon find out.. thanx again.. take it easy

If they're small holes as shown in the video you watched, you're fine. Those were 1/4". If you use larger holes, you run the risk of drying out the air inside. Remember, a 1/2" hole is four times the size of a 1/4" hole.

nice 1... well the piece i used is about 5mm... should that be sufficient or have i fucked my terrarium... thanx alot for the quick reply! much app.

I do have some larger holes stuffed with polyfil as an addition to the hundred small holes. I've heard it could lead to contam if you place your FC on the ground while having so much holes but I never had any problems. My room isn't anything near ''super-clean''.

It isn't cotton balls it's polyfill and that is more or less the description of a monotub

A) use the search engine, you will find all the answers + pictures there

B) The short answer. A terrarium is used to fruit cakes or casings in a tray, while a monotub is the container for the substrate and casings.
