Best beer ever?

Hey there!

Since my stay in the U.S. I am asking one question to myself:
Wich beer is the best?

It is because I tried Miller, Bud and several further American kinds of beer and everytime I was close to get really really sick :thumbdown:

As a German I still think that German beer is the best! Do you have different opinions?

My favourites are Augustiner, Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr and many more (I know them all *gg*)!

P.S: I am a little drunk... so excuse my bad English if it is there :smile:

stick with the imports American beer dosen't get any better than Budweiser, except maybe Sam Adams.  Hey German beer so far is my favorite. Cheers to you..... :cheers:

Honestly I don't pay attention to the names nor could I remember how to spell it I would have to see pictures of the bottle to remember though.

I've always wondered why this site puts a angry face as the sober pic

Guinness (I live in Ireland, find the right pub and its liquid gold)
Pilsner Urquell
Berliner
Newcastle Brown Ale
Paulander
Bitburger

I have never understood budweiser, Its light and watery and has a sickly aftertaste. Goes stale fast too

Dogfish head ale 60 min IPA is my favorite u.s. beer. However, it's very much on the hoppy side and not to everyone's liking. As a friend put it "it tastes like someone dumped an ashtray in my mouth". It's a Delaware brewery. And I'll second DieCommie's choice of negra modelo as absolutely top notch!

on the west coast we have microbrews up the wahzoo. these beers are great. don't drink bud, miller, or coors unless you are playing drinking games.

Personally my fav beer right now is a microbrew from CO, called Fat Tire you might know what I'm talking about.  This guy from Boulder, went to Belgium, rode his bike all over the country to different brewerys.  Taking notes, and picking up recipes.  Then he came back to CO and started brewing a Belgian Ale, great shit.:thumbup:

Blue Moon Winter Ale "Full Moon" is the shit too, plus its 6.0% alcohol!

You guys all think that Bud, Coors and Miller are beer? God-awful watered-down piss dribbles is more like it. The good American beers are all from Micro-Breweries on the West Coast.

Dick's Lava Rock Porter (Centralia, WA)
Bridgeport IPA bottle-conditioned (Portland, OR)
Eel River Triple Exultation Certified Organic (Fortuna, CA)
Rogue Dead Guy Ale (Newport, OR)

For imports, my fave is Pilsner Urquell.

Remember:
Anything advertised on TV or at a Football game is NOT REAL BEER!
