I never liked beer when I was first starting to drink... mainly because the only beer I was ever exposed to was crappy bud light.
Uhm, my faves are:
Stella Artoise Sam Adams Negro Modelo Boulevard Wheat Ale
and.... if I'm going to a party where it's just gonna be a bunch of people getting drunk, I'll bring High Life.
I might add, that since I'm in oklahoma, our beer is only 3.2% alcohol. So not only is the crappy domestic beer shitty tasting, it's only half as strong. The higher-end beers that we get at liquor stores are full alcohol though.

TODAY said: on the west coast we have microbrews up the wahzoo. these beers are great. don't drink bud, miller, or coors unless you are playing drinking games.
Personally my fav beer right now is a microbrew from CO, called Fat Tire you might know what I'm talking about. This guy from Boulder, went to Belgium, rode his bike all over the country to different brewerys. Taking notes, and picking up recipes. Then he came back to CO and started brewing a Belgian Ale, great shit.
Blue Moon Winter Ale "Full Moon" is the shit too, plus its 6.0% alcohol!
fat tire is the shit, one of my favourites. sam adams winter lager has been a recent enjoyment as well. i love all the microbrews in the west. there's a place in missoula, mt called the kettlehouse...they have a brew called coldsmoke scotch ale that is my all time fav. also one called bongwater porter that is very tasty. there's too much good beer out there to drink anything by bud or miller.

America has really good micro breweries, but are hard to find. My favorite beers include hoegaarden, juplier, hook norton, cimey, kronenbourg blanc and there's probably a whole bunch of eisblok bier that I havent' had the pleasure of sampling yet.

It's a toss up between Oregon and Wisconsin microbrews.
I like Oregons tho:
Black Butte Porter Mirror Pond Dead Guy Arrogant Bastard Full Sail
I like Colorados Fat Tire a lot too.
As far as other countries, Germany has the best brews.

Im not sure, but I tries this mexican beer called 'Dos Exius' meaning two x's that shit was great! It was more like a beer/ale taste to it. I had it at a friends house a while back, yes he is from Mexico to begin with, but I like hanging out with mexicans, they are so much cooler then hanging out with some white people i've known.

Youve got to be kidding me? I can't stand the taste of Milwakee's Best at all, in fact it almost makes me want to puke. Natty light is to watered down, piss water that doesnt even get you drunk.

Mexican beer is the bomb. So is Canadian beer. Oh my goodness I need to go to Canada again!
Czech beer's good. German beer's good. English beer's good. I've had some good Japanese beer, too.
Coors and Budweiser (the brand, not the style) are for tailgate parties in the trailer park. If you're going to have cheap American beer, do it Grandma-style: Lucky, Rainier, Olympia, PBR, Hamm's. But actually don't do that at all, please.
I'm eating beer bread right now. MacTarnahan's Porter - not the best drinking beer, but it makes a good bread.

I'm having a New Belgium 1554 right now, yummy. I've never really had a micro-brew that didn't serve at least one beer I liked. The more beers I taste the more I get into peoples who brew their own, those batches are the best. I like em stout and dark, some times I even like the really hoppy ones.

Yes it is! I love Corona Extra too, but it is so damn expensive for the good shit. I stick with Budwieser dry, or keystone for casual beer drinking. I havent tried too many Canadian beers, but they are good also.

My actual Grandma actually has a sixer of Billy Beer and another sixer of MASH beer in her garage fridge. For collector's value of course. Luckily she's very lucid or she'd get it confused with her Oly. Sharp as a tack, she is.

augustiner is also one of my favorites, but the best beer ever does not go by a brand name but by the location where it is made, namely, the octoberfest!
my taste buds have been spoiled ever since.
grolsch is what i generally drink here at home.

Hey AA
Isn't Oktoberfestbier a special offering from Augustiner? I thaught so... but you're right... it could be the best 8)
But the best thing was that we got it all for free, remember ? I think we have to check it out again next year, lol

Miller Lite, Budweiser, Bud Light, Corona, and Natural Ice. Of the beers you can pick up anywhere in town I enjoy Sweet Water Blue and Hoegaarden. I also like In Heat wheat when its around. Getting beer that isn't horrendous piss water is harder when you're under 21.

german beers are good, i like Haufbraugh (sp?) still, for imports I like Belgian beers better than German. Gulden Draak is really really good.
American beers....New Glarus Spotted Cow is good.
