Sam Adams is one of the only bigger companies I like. Their seasonal beers are pretty fucking awesome too. I've heard good things about corona but have never had it. The rest...bud, miller, coors, I think its horrible and it proves that advertising works.

Yeah well what i'm trying to get at here is Sam Adams is the god of beer, and I haven't tasted anything that comes near. Maybe dead man's ale but I would still choose sam adams.
I'm looking for beer that surpasses their quality taste.

new castle is meant to be consumed warm. But i only like it if it's ice cold, otherwise it tastes like sierra nevada. Ice house has that same issue.

Beer never made me feel full it makes me hungry, I don't know why but whenever I drink I feel the same as having smoked pot, I get damn hungry. But then again High Life isn't even beer.

You need to change your geographic location, bro. Fucking seriously. Goddamn, that hurt my head to hear you say that shit. Sam Adams is good. Fucking great for gas stations. It is pisswater compared to 95% of what is available in specialty stores in my area. I'd prolly hate most of that stuff if I had access to some of the greatness brewing in CO or WA or OR. Maybe I'm just tired of East coast hops?

Mikeller's Beer Geek Breakfast
Ska's Tru Blonde Dubbel
Saison Dupont
Hennepin
Foothill's Seeing Double
Belle's Highlander
Chimay's Blue Label Grande Reserve
Now, if anything on that list is available, congratulations. Otherwise, try to shop out some Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. It's the only thing I can think of that is pretty damned good and should be easy to find. Boddington's Pub Ale is pretty good and easy to find as well. Anything by Magic Hat will not be disappointing although I am partial to Circus Boy and #9.
There is some West Coast shit I've tried that is even better but it is hard as hell to come by unless you live in some specific states.

boo.
I live in oklahoma. The only thing you can get at a gas station, grocery store, walmart, etc is shitty 3.2% beer.
If we want good beer we have to go to a liquor store.
I would suggest Sam Adam's or Stella, if they are at a gas station.
If I absolutely MUST get beer at a gas station it means I'm probably going to a party or just drinking to get drunk, and I'll get Miller Lite or High Life.

yeah. I was gonna say Chimay is the most likely one you'll find. It's about $8/pint. Boddingtons is cheaper and is neato. The Celebration Ale should be fairly easy to find and well within budget although, it is the least eventful in the list.
The Saison Dupont is only going to be in a specialty store but it is Belgian so no state specificity. It's about $9-10/pint.
The Beer Geek is Dutch, again no state specificity but by god, get ready to drop $16/pint. It's worth it. I've never had a better beer.
The Hennepin and Tru Blonde are stateside beers and should be ~$7/pint and well worth it. Those two are going to be the best drink for your dollar.
Forget finding Belle's, it's imported in stupendously limited quantities. Foothills won't be found unless you are in NC.

fuckin' right i am! i LOVE beer, even cheap beer. for the price, it's top notch. 6% alcohol, less than 10 bucks a case. it's the everyday beer.
other than that i loves me some Red Stripe. other microbrews too. Great White Pale Ale is by FAR my favorite, but it's only availabe in the HumCo.

This thread hurts my tastebuds. Ice house? Miller? :shudder:
I come from Oregon, where you can buy beer that tastes good. Some personal faves: Deschutes makes excellent beers, expecially the Black Butte Porter, Obsidian Stout, Inversion IPA. I forget the brewery name, but Blonde Bombshell and Monkeyface Porter are also excellent, as is Ninkasi's Terminal Gravity IPA. Virtually any northwest IPA is good, but I especially like when I find one that tastes exactly the same as the weed I'm smoking.

I'm lucky enough to live 30 minutes away from a microbrewery with a completely killer selection. Just 15 minutes from that is a specialty liquor store called The Keg that carries tons of imports and specialties from the midwest and other breweries of larger notoriety. http://www.newalbanian.com/
My big favorites though, without getting too obscure, are Newcastle, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, Guinness Stout, Spaton(sp?) lager, Belle's (any variety, but Two Hearted is a fav of mine), Grolsche, St. Paulie Girl (light and dark varieties), Pete's Wicked Ale (any variety), Stella, and many, many more.
p.s.
Fuck megabrew pisswater! Fuck Bud, Miller, Coors, all of it! It's over-advertised swill meant to be fed to rednecks! However... when I'm broke, I'll sometimes break and become a redneck sheep. Oh, and Honey Brown is a good, pretty cheap beer that should be easy to find. Quality beer for a lower price.
