Type of light needed?

I have a fully inclosed room that doesn't get natural light.What type of light is needed in order to make a casing start to grow p. cubensis?

I have a similar setup. I just leave the light in the room on. I don't have any special lighting and it works out ok. If you do a search on the subject you'll see what other people are using. It varies.

A plane 60w light bulb is sufficiant.

ive got a 15 w flourecent and i cover the entire teranium so shrooms grow only in one direction

OK. not trying to be rude but did you say what kind of light is needed. LOL, come on well im not going to go into detail but just put a little 15watt light or somthing above the mushrooms after they pin for a few mins each day so they know which way to grow. Thats basicley it. happing shrooming

i have read that blue lights make the mush rooms pin beter.....i found some tight 5 led lights in a tube that looks like a fish tank heater but i didnt save it......do a google search for blue led....i belive they were 20 bucks for 4 led's in a tube with a power cord.....
