My growing kit has died?!?!

Hi:)
I’m in trouble with my growing kit . I have bought the kit last Monday (eight days ago) in Amsterdam, in a smartshop. The same day I have flown with the kit to my country. When Monday evening I have opened the box of the kit, my instruction did not include this important step: “It could be that the mycelium has not entirely grown in the casinglayer. Should that be the case, put the grow kit in a warm place around 26 degrees Celsius, until you see the mycelium is growing above the surface. Only then proceed with step 2, if the mycelium is visible at the surface.” Monday evening I have put the kit, without open it, inside a wardrobe (It is not a warm place: it is about 16-18 degrees Celsius). On Tuesday morning I have put the kit into the special bag with the air filter included in the kit. I have removed the lid of the kit (the mycelium was not grown). I have sprayed water in the bag, I have fold the top side of the bag 2 to 3 times, put on a paper clip and I have placed it in a wardrobe with a heater at approximately 25-26 degrees Celsius, using the diffusing a low light of the heater to light the kit (I have read that a low light is important to grow magic mushrooms). I have sprayed the kit 3 times a day for two day. Then on Thursday morning I have bought some expanded clay and I have put it into the bag, under the kit, with some water (because I have noticed that humidity was not good). Today is Monday, about 7 days are passed, but there is not mycelium on the surface of my kit. There is something that I can do to grow my mushrooms or the kit is definitely dead? Can you help me, please? Thank you very much.
(sorry for my english!!!)

Have you measured the actual temperature inside your wardrobe? People who use heaters in enclosed spaces often fail due to high temperatures.
Also, how reputable is the vendor?

The temperature is now 25 degrees Celsius. I often check that temperature remain between 24 - 26 degrees. I know the vendor and it’s reputable. The kit was built by a famous dutch industry. Any suggestion? Thanks.
(I have read that sometimes 10-14 day are needed for fructification... is it possible?!)
