cubensis hunter, i would not say that this is bad thing. you are finding mushrooms in the field, just not magic.it is getting very hot now. but i found two cubes on friday afternoon in the shade in the same spot i had two days earlier found a few mushrooms similar to what you described with the white gills.. ..lets get a picture of those.. i held that big one to the sky and almost cried with joy to find that thing.. ![ ](https://files.shroomery.org/smileys/smile.gif)

lol. i know how that feels. i did the same thing when i found one huge and literally PERFECT shroom. i'll keep looking. i guess they are all out in the shade under the trees and stuff. problem is, i know i'm gonna have to learn a real easy way to perserve them, because i know i'm gonna only find a few at a time if any at all. all of the ways to preserve and grow these things are too much work. i think i'll try the honey thing. it sounds pretty easy, and if the good stuff leaks into the honey like i've heard, i'll just use it to sweeten my tea. lolp.s. nice pic

One big wild cube is all youll need to trip. and cube hunter, theyll dry themselves. to speed the process up you can use a fan blowing on them for a few days in a dark well ventilated room. [This message has been edited by GGreatOne234 (edited June 20, 2000).]
