I should have said in most states. Here int he PNW (which is what i this post was referring to), including Oregon and Washington state, and California it is illegal to gather any living plant (mushroom included on federal or state land. That includes Oregon and Washington. And As I have previously noted, There are logging companies which sell mushroom permits to enter clear cuts in these three states.

Plant materials also include berries, flowers and any organic plants from the land and that includes mushrooms also..

Yeah, laws really vary from state to state when it comes to what you can and can't do in parks. They're real nazis about the parks in Georgia and you're not allowed to "remove" or "disturb" the natural wild life or you could either get fined or go to jail.  :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

if its a felony i do believe they are required to give you a police report or is it if you go to jail? anyhow you proly did go to jail what was yer bond? and if they did take you to jail ask for a arrest report

Yes you are right MJ cause in fact one of the guys that was with me got searched and they found shrooms on him but this ranger only gave him a fine for abstruction to habitat or something along those lines which majorly pissed me off being that I got screwed worse.

ok like i said i was unsure but i have seen somwhere on a legit site that was saying something about it being mispelled that is all i was sayin was just tryin to see if it really was true lol, besides at the end i said i wasnt sure, any how the first paragraph should be helpfull at least give me that? that they have to be able to have their laws assesable for the public via internet or library, so if thus guy is relaly freakin out he can go look this stuff up and have it prepared for the lawyer if he gets one that way he can take some of the pressure off of the lawyer cause believe it or not they really dontlike to work they like easy cases, any how i appologize if it was misinformation perhaps it was with another drug but im sure too look it up tonight to see where i was wrong cause usually law is my best area anyhow mj you are right about picking things from a park and fed parks but thats why i was asking if it was a fed park i assume so cause the rangers where there, and hint hint, some one narqd on him either that he was loud and suspicious and they have already been watchin him! any how dont be angy :laugh: :blush:

DAMN, im currently in anacortes wa and this is prime for shroom hunting, im moving to astoria oregon soon and ive heared its also great for shrooming. thats so lame that i could get in big trouble
