Co-Signer

i need a Co-signer badly and I'm willing to set up some sort of deal. i know this is the first time something like this has probably ever been asked but I'm so serious. i have no credit so i cant get a car unless i have a co-signer. its just me in this world and i really have no one else but my g/f and she cant co-sign.

My room mate just got a car at drive time, it seems like they'll give anyone a car, he totaled a 2006 civic with >30k miles on it, and still owes 6k on his credit, and a repo from an 18k dollar car. They gave him a 13k loan after all of this.

Get a bank account, rbfcu gave me a 72 month 13k loan at 5.9% interest. The only credit I have is from not paying my bills when I move.

But yah I don't really suggest drive time, they'll rape your wallet every 2 weeks for 5 years. If you've had a job for 6+ months and the same address and you walk into a credit union you should have no problem getting an auto loan for more than you can afford.

not true. there are many ways to get a car. my roommate is a mortage broker and knows quite a bit about the banking system. Ill ask him his advice on getting a vehicle with no credit when I go downstairs. Haha sorry im lazy. maybe ill just call his phone.

edit: im gonna go downstairs and smoke some weed and ill post his advice when i get back. :thumbup:

A friend of mine asked the same thing of me when he was buying a motorcycle. I have since lost contact with him and now owe $5,000 to a collection agency.

ok so in all seriousness he says:
if you are gonna try and spend 250 a month ride the bus for 2 months and then buy a 500 dollar car. its gonna be better in the long run to own the car instead of buying a shitty car from some place thats just gonna rip you off, most used car lots are just gonna take that 500 dollar car and put as little money as possible in it to make it run, then charge you 2500 for the car, and youll be stuck paying 250 a month plus paying for all the shit that goes wrong with it. if you can afford 250 a month youll be able to afford the small things that will go wrong with a cheaper car that you own. plus you wont have to worry about a repo if you miss a payment or shit goes wrong.

car auctions are also a good place to look at...i got a 2004 dodge intrepid for 2000 bucks last year.

edit: mind you it is an old undercover cop car. it gives me bad vibes to drive it. dont buy old cop cars if you have a conscience. :lol:

I got my first car with a loan from rbfcu when I was 18, with no credit. I'm telling you if you have proof of a steady income, you can get a loan. 90% of the population of our town is the working poor, everyone loves to let someone who can hold a job give them 40% of what they make in a month.

i don't have any money too put down. right now i have a 2006 dodge stratus thats 345/monthly that i cant afford plus a baby on the way. i need a reliable car now thats cheap on payments. i found a car that will work i just need a freaking co signer. don't mean to sound rude I'm just really fucking frustrated!

i had a friend do a 20,000 dollar loan on prosper

they ask for all the info because its a legit website that would need all your info to give you that much money, i thought that would be pretty obvious...i know how you pub guys get though :tinfoil:

if you dont feel comfortable giving your info, your not gonna get a loan from anyone
