mouse over feature

i was thinking that it would be awesome if the mouse over feature jumped to the first unread post instead of always showing the first post.
that feature is probably one of my favorite things of the forum and it would be even better if it did that. it would be a lot easier for me to browse the forums and i'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it also.

I'll look into whether I can add that without a lot of overhead.

i was just about to start a thread about this feature, but i was going to say something else. mine only sometimes works. it is a great feature but i don't know why it doesn't work.
also if you are going to change it to read the last unread post, there would have to be an option somewhere where you had the option for it to read the last unread post or not, because the current option of 'jump to first unread post' never remembers the right posts that i have read.

I think mousing over the folder on the left should bring you to the first unread, whereas the link to the thread functions like normal.

Mousing over the folder on the left would show you the first unread post; mousing over the thread title/the last poster would still work the way it currently does.

It doesn't happen for me, either That's a mock-up. Incorporating a "last unread" into the mouse-over feature is a great idea, and I think it should be implemented by programming that folder icon to do it.

IE7 has smoother scrolling; Firefox's scrolling is really choppy. I use Opera; I customized a lot of Opera's gimmicks out.
