I just ate an entire BULB of garlic.

Hi  :laugh:  *BREATHE!*



It was very tasty.  I roasted teh garlic for about 45 minutes and sprinkled some red pepper and veggie oil on it before baking it.  Then when it was done I spread the loves on i piece of bread with some brie cheese.  Heaven.

My grandad used to eat an (brown) onion a day, raw, apple style.

He smoked and drank his entire life and lived to 92 years old.

I couldn't handle garlic... I do eat lemons whole though, loooooooooove it.

Whenever my girlfriend eats some garlic or onions, I immediately do the same. Having some equals out the smell :lol: Same goes with alcohol and cigarettes.

someone told me garlic was actually something very toxic but our bodies are so hardened by the crap we eat that garlic is ok to eat. dunno if thats true or not though

oh... well now im not so impressed. before i opened the thread i imagined you eating an entire bulb of RAW garlic..... lol. hell i eat a whole roasted bulb at least once a week. i love to spread it on buttered bread... mmmmmmmmm.

i thought my buddy was crazy when he threw a whole slice of lemon in his mouth with some sugar sprinkled on it, rind and all. but i tried it, and its really good, it tastes like a lemonhead or one of those lemon candy things. for those of you who have never tried it, you should. citrus peels also carry loads of anti cancer agents.

garlic is very healthy for the body, although it can be taken in too large of quantities and some people may have allergies (just like any other food), but it has immunity boosting properties

I'm pretty sure I can do that with a raw onion.

Oh, okay, I somehow missed that too. I eat a few cloves, a couple times I ate almost a bulb dipped in Olive Oil with basil, but it's always raw when I do it like that.

Love that garlic. And so do the ladies :brushteeth:

If it is crushed/chopped/cut and not cooked allicin is created(I prob'  don't have to tell you that though).

Allicin is one of my favorite tastes. I crush like 4 cloves up into a bowl of chicken noodle soup after I cook it so it's spicy

next time rub some garlic on your feet and then eat a whole clove.. you come up alot stronger that way...

i rub garlic on my toast some times. then butter it. very healthy stuff.

Only one? I'll soften 15 up in the oven and chow down from time to time. It's impossible to put too much garlic in my food. I'd even eat garlic ice cream if I could find it.

Sometimes when I make popcorn I'll sprinkle it with garlic powder and salt. Yummy.
