For the record, Nevada is pretty cool. The days are like 90-95F instead of the 115F it was reaching in July. I guess the heat wave moved on to the rest of the US.

The heat is here in Tennessee. It's hotter in here than it is Miami! My little town has been sitting at about 102 all week. I'm surprised the lawn hasn't spontaneously combusted yet. Suddenly, we live in fear of the sun.

i'm in tennessee as well. it has been between 104 and 106 for the last 10 days. all the corn is dead... ALL of it. the neighboring county caught fire a few days back, but all the was lost was a barn and a few hundred acres. luckily the local farmers got together and disc'd a huge circle around it to keep it contained.

Funny me too, except the day before an announcement went out saying everyone to stay home and i live in NJ LOL. The enxt day it was clear nice, sunny day, not abit of rain

This ones probably going to hit florida all the good ones do :frown:, I myself wasnt expectin katrina to do all that, I took a few walks during a few of our hurricanes, not charley though, I did go outside during charley but not for a walk. Charley did some pretty good damage.
