Miniature Casing Method Attempt - Suggestions Please

Hello Shroomery community, much respect to the trippers, cultivators, and supporters out there. Just got a small question about a stupid idea I had on this one quickly colonized BRF cake I got. Yea I know you're thinking, "Oh, another casing question." Yea sort of, except my question is:
How should I go about casing a 1 pint jar in a miniature casing tray?
I was thinking about cutting it into about 5 slices, laying the main 4 slices (if they don't collapse already, or when I cut them) onto the first layer of verm. of course, then following up with the 5th slice crumbled around these slices, casing the top with a 50/50 pm/verm (buffered)so on and so forth.
My confusion though, is mangled upon the following, more specific questions:
- How much exactly should I use for the verm. layer? - How much pm/verm should I use? - What size tray dimensions would be preferable? - Are 5 slices manageable? Will it completely collapse on me? What about 4 slices,(3 to layer verm, 1 to crumble)? Maybe even three? - How much calcium carbonate and/or oyster shell should I use? - Is this casing method even necessary; Will I produce higher yields if I just fruit via FC and leave the cake as is, un-fucked with? Many say BRF cakes are a waste of time to try to case etc.
I know this seems like a lot for 1 measly pints worth of colonized substrate. Just wondering because I might actually see some beneficial information exposed during this process. It will definitely teach me something, in my opinion.

I can only control it so much. I run a slightly time consuming schedule, but it shouldn't fall under 88% and it should go over 95% as far as I know.

Uh... yea, thanks Vedasticks. I already read up most of those for supplementary information; the point of the question was to stick deeper into the more specific stuff concerning the buffers/ casing mixture. However I did consider the "Casing101" method executed by Azurepower and Joshua. This still leaves me to the shortage of the buffered and strengthened casing mixture as I want to maximize yields as much as possible from this cake :S
