Help finding a song. Calling all Aphex Twin fans.

Hey guys,

I desperately need to get my hands on a track, in this case Aphex Twin.

I am working on a project, a video project and I need to get my hands on a track if anyone would be so kind as to send me a link to it.

Aphex Twin - Stone in Focus - from the album Selected Ambient Works vol.2

I have a 112k bit version and all that I need is at least the 128k bit version.

If any of you could help me I would be greatly thankful.

Should you need anything in return, I have a ton of old school remixes (before the advent of mainstream audio editing) that I would be more than willing to give. No one has some of the stuff I have, I swear.

At any rate, please let me know. Thanks.

I have almost all of Richard James albums and on selected ambient v:2
the only song with stone in it is weathered stone
is that what you're talking about?

do you know which track of which disk it is? because my rip of that CD has untitled tracks that just say: "Track 1, Track 2" etc...

mine is in 192

Thats the friggin problem, I have it as well but when the volume came out it came out in different formats like viynl and what not and that track "Stone in Focus" Is not on the CD but rather the limited UK release of the vynl.

I have the album with the weathered stone track as well, but alsas it is not the one - but hey thanks for checking it out for me. :smile:

Hey man, thanks for getting back to me. The track was released only on the viynl UK version of the Selected Ambient Works 2 release and was never released on any of the other format.

But this is what I do know,

19 [stone in focus] a.k.a. #19 10:05 - / E-2 (Limited Edition vinyl only — see Notes)

Here is the track listing in case you just might have a copy of it.

It's not weathered stone in case you were wondering. But hey thanks for checkling it out. If the numbered track you might think it is is 10:05 minutes long then maybe that is it.

Well, if you need me to, I can take your version and convert it to 128kb, or are you seeking the 128kb version because of some kind of quality difference?

Hey man, thanks for the offer but that is what I did here for now. I need at least the 128 bit version so that I can convert it to a 48k raw file for use on a DVD that I am making. The 112 converted to that sounds okay but I can hear the artifacts like crackling and static etc.
