Hello. new guy here. My bearded dragon grew PF strain jars. Followed instructions to the T. First cake to fruit did well. three mushrooms were harvested and consumed when the caps were inverted.
the effects were mild to none. I feel the chemicals in my body but not trippin.
Next time I desired to harvest just as instructed. Picked the beautiful mushrooms just after the cap broke away from the stem. the caps were steeply inclined or very round and contaminant free.
I consumed about 7 of these. They varied in size from 3/4 - 1/2 the legth of a dollar bill on an empty stomach. One hour later i felt only the chemicals going through my body. but i felt no strange wounderful sensations. no whicked altered sound of music, no visuals, no feel good body sensations.
The PF TEK was followed down to the T with some minor exceptions, made some n00b mistakes. I can go into those if you like. but the cakes colonized smell good look good and fruited good. fruited great.
So heres where i need help. am i freek? do i need to take 20 ripe mushrooms to trip hard. is it me or is it the shrooms. are the srooms week or is my body super strong. I never trip on anything. I have triped before however many years ago and i know the general feelings i should be experiencing.
my bearded dragon is making up a new batch now and will hopefully be ready to try again in a few weeks. his remaining cakes in the dual chambered terrariam still can put out maybe 20+ mushrooms. 3 cakes in there total. 2 on the second flush and 1 on its first which is goin got have to be double cased PF style.
please help. My goal is to trip F!@#'ing hard. what do i need to do diffrenet.

Don't panic! You are OK and the shrooms are OK. You just need to dry them and weigh them. You should trip GOOD on 3 DRY GRAMS. If you don't trip hard enough on 3 grams, then try 6 grams, DRY weight. Remember to allow at least 3 days in between your trip attempts, to allow your body chemistry to return to 'normal'. Otherwise, you will not experience the full effect. You are doing it right except for not using a large enough dose. To get the same effect from WET shrooms you must use a much larger dose because shrooms lose 90% of their weight when dried. To equal 3 DRY GRAMS, you would have to eat 30 WET GRAMS, approximately, to get the same effect. It is hard to put down 30 wet grams, but easy to eat 3 DRY GRAMS, for the same effect. So first DRY them, then weigh out 3 grams and eat them. You will be amazed and delighted when you find yourself tripping GOOD on 3 DRY GRAMS.

Thank you very much. ok my motivation just went up again after being destroyed from last nights experience. Yes I hope the problem was i was eating them wet.
Think I'll do 4grams to be sure =o
Now a quick note on drying the shrooms. Here is what i did.
Purchased a 2 small buckets of DampRid. I open one and put the Damp Rid in the bucket, on the bottom, and folded wire mesh screen and sat that ontop of the Dam Rid. So the shrooms are sitting ontop of wire screen elevated above the DampRid inside the DampRid bucket, the small size one, you know what im talking about. Then i but the bucket with the shrooms inside and took a blastice garbage/grocery bag and put the drying chamber in there and tied it tight.
Thinking i want to keep it air tight as possable so no moisture comes in as moisture is being pulled out from the air inside the container.
The container lid itself should seal in the air and prevent fresh air from comming in?
I dont know. I hope so.
Now ontop of all of this I put the drying chamber inside the refrigerator.

crap the same thing happened to me.... 3.5 grams of dried shrooms and barely anything..... is it possible that i have some innate tolerance to shrooms? there is no god......

Everybody is different.
You might have a higher tolerence than others (or a bigger body for that matter).
Personally,I would get off pretty seriously from 7 fair sized,just picked shrooms,but that's just me.

You're welcome, Bladerunerss. You might consider also that the visuals from shrooms are MUCH more impressive in a dark room/place than in bright daylight where you may only notice 'wavy-ness'. In darkness the waviness turns to technicolor paisleys, like those neon Mayan prints come to life. Eat your dose and a half hour later retire to your tripping cave, darken the room, turn on your favorite music, lay back and shut your eyes and relax and enjoy the fireworks.
You confuse me with all the dessicator info because I just dry small amounts of 'stuff' on a dinner plate sitting on top of my PC monitor. Temperature is just about right and 'stuff' dries crispy in 2 days, which is soon enough for me. My PC monitor is always on and warm on top. Fun, quick, and easy- so why go through the dessicant ordeal? Simple is best and cheapest, if it works, and this works great for me. As for preserving alkaloids, 3 dry grams makes me very stoned, and 6 dry grams reduces me to a ball of giggling psychedelic mirth for about 4 hours- meaning, I seriously doubt that anything trippy got lost in the drying. Just my experience, so let us know how YOU fare. Happy Trails.....

again, sounds good. my basment refuge is going to make a great tripping cave. have everything down here, pc/internet, sound system tv vcr. couch. oh man i cant wait. just need a god damn potent batch!
im going to try to dry some as you suggested. Ill have to use the roof of the TV/cable box though. and ill do some the refirerator damp rid combination and compare.
