ALright, heres the scoop...Ive been takin care of a ferret for like 2 weeks now because I found it.I share rooms with other people which I dont really talk to,anyway right across from my room is a 25 year old girl who just gave birth to a boy.Yesterday she brought it to the hospital because it was sick...some kind of a infection.
Now,downstairs is some old lady who came from peru and stayin there for a couple of months,She fuckin said to get rid of the ferret because its doing harm to the baby (this ferret never leaves my room) she said this but not to my face. Also a while back the ferret got loose last saturday and was roaming around the 1st floor and the old bitch opened the door so it can leave
This is all bullshit, what the fuck is a ferret going to do to a baby?

Actually, ferrets and humans share diseases. Ferrets have terribly weak immune systems, and can pass colds and flus along to humans - especially young children with weak immune systems. Did you have the ferret vaccinated or vet checked? If not, the old lady is probably right, it really shouldn't be anywhere near a baby.

unless the ferret and baby are rolling in eachothers poop I don't see the harm. I had a ferret, sweet things, even when they nibble you can't feel it.

I have 6 - if you don't train them to be gentle, they're not. They can draw blood extremely easily, and I wouldn't trust the gentlest of ferrets around a baby.

You could look up a local ferret rescue or animal shelter in your area - they'll be sure to find the ferret a good home.

it's common knowledge elderly peruvian ate babies to keep their youthful look and live forever. the government knows all about it, i mean the incas taught them everything they know.
