Welfare Elders

So i live in a house thats broken down into 4 diff places, 1 on the side of us(my roommate and i)and 2 below, lower 30's mexican(cant) guy and 40-mid 50's white husband and wife...my roommate and i are 22 and ofcourse we enjoy having some people over to open up the poontang market..well over the last year the married couple downstairs has complained and complained about us being to loud to the landlord. The landlord basically says be silent after 10 on weekdays and after 12 on weekends...bedtime for us who pay to live here...stupid? yes...so tonight there was probly about 8 girls and 4 guys over here drikin a bit and chillin...lower 50s guy comes outside lil bit ago(bout 10 45ish)...starts his old POS up and revs the engine and leaves, 10 mins ago cops show up saying "yeh we know it was a lame complaint but we still gotta come" so we tell them the situation and try to keep it quieter..bout 11 45 same cops show up again saying to shut it down....Ok ok enough ranting and raving i suppose..i just hate middle aged people paying as much rent money if not less then we do and they have to be bitches about it and complain constantly...i mean get some money and get a fuckin house...god ...

they are within there rights it sounds like.

whats are the disturbing the peace hours where you live. Im not saying its all your fault but with the same token you could say, "Get some money and get your own place. Then you wont have to worry about being quiet for your neighbors.

I'm not sure what the disturbing the peace hours are but like i said the first time they came by they were laughin and shit sayin how everything here seemed fine and basically saying they knew it was BS. Just pisses me off the old guy can try and act all cool during the day and be friends with all of us then turn into a dick at night...sure i understand where they are comming from but its an apartment for crying out loud

im not clear on one thing: is it you guys who are makin the noise? or other neighbors?


i always hated living in my old apartments. fucking paper thin walls.

im a glutton though, about to move into another apartment here soon, but these are much newer and have pretty thick, soundproof walls(so the leasing manager says)

Well we are lol...but cops came twice before 12am (which is when the landlord says we gotta stop) im sure we'll hear about it from both the couple down stairs and the landlord...just annoying haivng to live in an apartment and be expected to be silent...and its an older house 4plex sorta deal
