I know this is not going to be a 100% positive ID b/c i have no way of gettin a pic on here, but if u could bare with me and just give me some opinions i would really appreciate it. small mushroom - with the biggest cap around 1-2 inch in diameter. dark tan/brown cap in the middle - fading to an almost grey color on the edge. Gills are grey. Stem is long and thin, with some sort of film that on it (that can be rubbed off easily). Where they have been bruised (on the stem) they turn an almost reddish color. No bluing that i can see so far - its been about an hour. Doing a spore print as i type - but if i rub a napkin accross the gills - the spores are jet black. I will post how the print turns out. The gills are extremely thin and fragile. Much more thin that paper. I live in central Alabama. These were found on and around horse and cow dung, in a wooded area (mainly pine, but some oak). anything else i can look for to help ID these things? Thanks in advance. peace [edit] Ok spores print is definately black. ANY ideas? [/edit]

lol... got $ for a digicam 4 me???
well after about an hour i noticed that 3 of em had bluing on the base of the stems... i only had 10 grams soppin wet so i ate em to see if anything at all would happen. Lights seemed to be brighter, i felt extremely relaxed, and my extremities (especially my feet) got a warm/numb feel to them. So i assume they are active - there were tons of these things in the field, but they were all teenytiny, so im prayin for rain so that i can get a bunch. Maybe by then ill borrow a digicam or somn and see if i can get some help iding them
