Dan Millman's Life Reading 20 years hence

Met Dan Millman ("Way of the Peaceful Warrior") about 20 years ago. He did a 'Life Reading' on me.
I could not verify that I was a powerful Bushido in a past life as he claimed, but what about the rest? He made about five major predictions and was 0 for 5. I choose not to share them at this time.
Do you believe an 'advanced being' can peer into probability timelines?

Didn't like the book. It was a poor spin off on Castaneda. Now if CC had made the predictions they would have surely been on target.

Here is what Lao Tzu said about this:
Those who have knowledge, don't predict. Those who predict, don't have knowledge.
And Lao Tzu was a pretty happening guy IMO

I liked the part where Socrates pissed off the 'holy' meditators in the VW van. That piece should be stickied here, as the same attitude is all-too-often present in this forum.

Lao Tzu translated means 'old man'. Sounds very specific; sort of like 'Some Guy' said...

I agree. "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior" was to "Journey to Ixtlan" what "The Sword of Shannara" was to "The Lord of the Rings"...a cheap rip off.
-------------------- "A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

Thanks for ripping on my one time favorite book. Now the gloves are off when it comes to Castanets.
