As long as it does not have any presservatives it should be allright. I always use the brown rice though. less chance of screwing up the closer you follow instructions (MMGG)

it's just a difference between rice and wheat (if the flower is whole grain.. brown in color) rice has more gluten then wheat, but if it works, hey... (altho rice flour isn't hard to get, health stores, some grocery stores, or you can grind your own rice!)
