feedback on inoculation process
    #7412766 -

this is nt to much of a difference from other people but anyway today i got 2 more jars i already had 3 which been inncoulated 2 weeks ago 1 has about a 3 inch radius of mycellium 1 has 3 nickel size spots and 1 hasnt done much.
for my new jars i did not use my glove box because i couldnt see into it for some reason i have saran wrap but through that and the jar it was too foggy. anyway i had them about 4 feet off the ground sprayed lysol all around about 3 feet radius. then i flamed the needle waited for red then shook so i could mix spores and cool needle at same time then put between 2-3 cc's of spore i know u dont need that much but ill be making my own syringes after mushies are grown so it dosent really matter. i have one dime size hole on top of jar with cotton stickin through it. put syringe through cotton and sprayed then repeated same steps on other jar all while i had latex gloves on rubbed in alcohol. so you think ill be ok?????

Spraying Lysol into the air is a waste of a good surface disinfectant. It does no good whatsoever. Use Oust to clean the air, Lysol or plain iso alcohol to clean tabletops. Other than that, it should be OK. Keep your cotton filter dry at all times or it will mold.
