LYSOL for STERILITY?

well i got 2 questions... first of all i have learned that it is very common and easy for cakes to get overrun with bateria or mold...

1. Would it be a good idea to sterilize jars with lysol before adding in the flour water and vermiculite? after all the spores are fungi and lysol claims to kill fungi...

2. I dont have a pressure cooker and i know some bacteria and mold can withstand boiling temperatures so instaed of boiling the jars would it be a good idea to stick them in the oven in very high temp? if so how high should the temp be and for how long?

please feel free to include any tips on sterilization or anything...

oh yeah and about how many grams of mushrooms can u get out off of a regular psilocybe cubensis syringe

1. Yes, you can clean them out first, and should. I would recommend bleach or alcohol. Lysol leaves residue, and has the ability to mutate mushrooms.

2. NO. You will boil the water out of your jars. Look in the FAQ or search for "fractional sterilization".

agree with ATWAR, and about hoe many grams of shrooms can you make with a regular syringe: you can make 1g to "plus infinite"gs, just follow the honey tek, grain to grain tek whatever in the shroomery faq
