Two-Tiered Hunch System

PHC = Primary Hunch Circuit
SHC = Secondary Hunch Circuit

Hmmm. Let me see if I got this correct.

Location: on the beach
PHC: Oh shit! Pack up your stuff! A tsunami is gonna hit!
SHC: Dude, chill out. Relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Location: at home
PHC: Let's get out. The house is going to burn down!
SHC: Stop your paranoid ramblings and watch the play-offs.

Location: on a plane
PHC: Oh, man. Oh man! *wrings hands* I just know were going to crash.
SHC: Have another drink and watch the movie. Everything is cool.

Many iterations later...

Location: downtown late at night
PHC: Those guys look scary. I think they are going to rob us.
SHC: I am with you on this one, PHC. Feets - do your stuff. Let's boogie!

Is this realistic? Wouldn't evolution merely bypass the PHC and just fully utilize the SHC, making it in effect, the PHC?

Or perhaps Falcon was just being argumentative and didn't really believe his own 'theory'.

You've got some balls to just lay out a statement like "Nature favors redundancy" with no explanation. What evidence do you have to make that argument? What are you even saying? You are lowering the quality of debate on this forum by making such an arrogant definitive statement.

This is the funniest part :lol:

:lol:

I think PHC exists because as humans we are still all to some degree insecure about something, like "Did we leave the toaster oven plugged in?" It may be about safety and self-maintenance first, logical deductions second.

True, but what is the relevance? Does a normal undamaged kidney operating at 1% efficiency make any biological sense?

If that is the way you see it, then you can have your hunch back.

Do hunches make any biological sense? If not, why are there hunches?

Because these things are all logically necessary to make reality complete.
