Help! My brother is psycotic and I'm worried for my mom's life and his life.

I'm seriously worried for the lives of my Mom and my brother. My brother is getting more psychotic each day and I'm worried he's going to kill my Mom and then commit suicide.

My brother has been going crazy recently, he's all ways super pissed off and punching walls and throwing shit around, spitting on the walls of the house, spitting on my parents vehicles. He's in his room almost all day long and you can hear him in there just pissed off as all hell. He's all ways yelling "AAHHHHHHH, FUCKING IDIOT!" throwing shit around, punching walls, and just going on a pissed off rampage. We really don't know whats making him so mad, the only thing we can think of is his acne, but still bad acne isn't enough to make anyone go on a rampage like he does. He really hates my mom with a passion and he has no reason too. I think he might be schizo or something. One time he accused my mom of putting different shampoo in his shampoo bottle that gave him zits on his head and he really though she did that and went on a pissed off rampage over this. That's one hell of a far out thought but he thinks it's true.

He's all ways saying really degrading things to my Mom like "You fucking greasy ass slime ball, your worthless" and shit like that.I just found out from my mom that a couple days ago he was standing in the kitchen with a knife in his hand holding it up like he was gonna stab her with a psychotic pissed off look on his face. After hearing that I'm really worried. He owns a 12 gauge Mossberg pump shotgun and I know it's only a matter of time before he completely loses it and shoots up my Mom and maybe the whole family. I'm really worried and I kind of don't even feel safe in my own house.

What should I do about this? He seriously needs some help, he isn't right in the head. Do we call the cops or what? I'm worried for him and the rest of my family. He's a time bomb waiting to explode and I'm afraid when he explodes people are gonna get killed.

What should I do? Any suggestions?
