Monsters in my closet

As this is my 1st grow and b-ing a nu b & all, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. These monsters just came from my second flush and are MUCH larger than those from my first.



Is it typical for 2nd flush shrooms to get this large?

Other than me being late in harvesting ;( is there anything wrong with shrooms this size?

*maginifying glass* Looks as though you let the veils brake on the shrooms. It's good to pick them just as the veils are tearing so they can be *perfectly* mature fruits. This if for the following reasons:

1. Shrooms are the most potent by weight at this point
2. The mushrooms add weight to themselves mostly before and up to the veil braking
3. The spores make a mess of your fc

Good work man! 5 shrooms for your first grow. whats the weight?

2nd flush shrooms are usually bigger than their 1st flush counterparts,most of the time it goes like this

1st flush= many smaller fruits

2nd flush= less mushrooms but the ones you have are bigger

O and as mentioned aside from them being a bit "Overgrown" there is nothing noticeably wrong with the mushrooms in that picture:thumbup:

PD - Strain is GT's.  Spawned wbs to hay and cow shit - OOOOOPS!!! Excuse ME!  STRAW and POO!! :wink:

No, these weren't the ONLY ones from flush.  TOTAL yeild from 2nd flush was 392 gr.  Did not weigh the few I took pix of.  1st flush was 765 gr.  So, should I expect larger fruits but less in qnty after 1st flush? Am I understanding that correctly, IH?

They did have a color and texture to them, huh?

Yes, HTR, I know harvest was too late (note remrks in post) but was unavoidable.  I hate messy shrooms 2!!
