Automating an FC

So my friend and I are going on vacation together for one week and he doesn't have anyone to take care of his FC. It is a rubbermaid tub with holes drilled in the bottom and 5 inches of perlite. He only has a couple of casings but without fae things will probably get ugly. Should he try to build a fan into the FC and attach it to a timer and buy a humidifier or are there easier ways to keep it going for one week?

a fan attached to a timer anda humidifier should do it.

How long are you going on vacation for. Your only main concern if you get air exchange and humidity taken care of is to have someone there to pck the mushrooms once they are ready to be picked.
