Being tall sucks

People stare at me when I'm out in public, people always assume I'm good at basketball but I'm not. My last girlfriend didn't even comeup to my shoulder, and missionary was impossible.
Its hard as hell to find size 15 shoes, as well as pants and shirts.
For some reason alot of jean companies assume if you're tall you are also fat, so I must wear a belt, too.
My feet hang off my bed and people are always asking "hows the weather up there, yuk, yuk, yuk"

yeah i'm 6'6" too. being tall is great!

my dad gave me this advice: people are going to give me attention because i'm tall. get used to it and harness to your advantage. andwhatever you do, don't dress poorly. a tall person with the wrong clothes on looks twice as worse as poorly dressed short person.

oh big deal I am happy with my size, i am 5'5" tall..i can still kickass at anything. a persons size has nothing to do with shit. Bruce Lee was my size and he could kick anyones ass!

but being tall has probably also its beauty...where do u live??
u living in country for example THAT'S A PROBLEM...there are no tall girls around here and everything is design for small people

I don't know, I've always attributed it to my size. However, I've been told I have a real energy or magnetism to me that makes people feel when I walk in the room but I've always attributed it my size (I was six feet tall at twelve) but ever since I can remember I've always been taller than other people my age. It could just be my own paranoia because I really prefer to remain unknown and anonymous but for instance when I walk into a supermarket I'll see people just staring at me or when I go to a party where I don't know a lot of people, like literally when I walk in everyone in the party will turn and look at me for a few seconds. It's really weird and uncomfortable. I could just be completely fucking psychotic but I don't think so because my friends tell me they see the same thing and even use it to their advantage (the little parasites haha) but yeah...

I don't take much notice of tall guys unless they are exceptional (pushing 7 foot) but I notice when a chick is tall right off the bat.  I like tall women and I notice right away if she is taller then me when I see someone (I'm about 5'11").  Just the other day I saw a woman at Seaworld that was about 6'6" and she was smoking hot.  Man would I like to climb that tree!!:grin:

this is true, but the correlation is pretty weak, more than likely due to societal influence. positive self-esteem caused by differential treatment and attention while growing up blah blah. Pretty interesting study to discuss actually, goes a long way to demonstrate why psychology is such an interesting and in-depth field to study.
-Don't bitch about being tall, I wouldn't mind being taller at all. When I lived in the northeast it wasn't too bad. I've found on average people are bigger in the south. It was like one day looking around and being like wow, when did I get so damn short, lol. i'm 5'9

Yeah, this is the worst thing about being tall, for me. I always end up thinking that I look like a freak or something.
