fungus(?) growing in my cacti seedling tray

not sure what this is, but it's growing in my cacti seedling tray and when I spray it it lets out spores or some kind of cloud. So... I made a mixture of water/fungicide/hydrogen peroxide/muriatic acid and sprayed the bad spots down, so if it can survive that, I'll be surprised and disappointed.

Gee, nasty stuff!
Thats why it´s important to sterilize soil for seedlings.

yeah, i probably should have baked the soil, but i thought that spraying it down with a water/hydrogen peroxide mixture before I sowed was good enough...guess not. After spraying it though, the stuff seems to be dying.

what is it growing from? thats why i top dress with straight sand. looks nasty, but if you give it more air maybe a little drier it should piss off.

but i am curious what it is growing from?

left the lid off the tray over night after I sprayed the shit down and it all seems to have dried up. I'm gonna go get some fine sand soon and do as you recommended kadakuda, i only have big chunky sand right now.
