It'd be cool if it had some psychoactive chemicals that occur in muscaria. But that's only wishful thinking.

My friend found an underground truffle like Lactarius in northern california which had white milk and tasted very acrid.

Hmmm good point, maybe animals aren't the only way truffle spores are dispersed.
