yeah, but they live more fun lives.

...I just had a hard time sleeping a lot during the day, the noise of cars, jets, trains would make it hard to sleep. Plus I had people asking for favors and calling me when i was trying to sleep during the day, even known i told them not to come over to my apartment or call me because I work that shift.
I would rather work days now, I get more sleep in the long run then the graveyard shift.

Speaking of shifts again now that I think about it, my worst shift I've ever worked was 3, 12 hour shifts a week...Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7am-7pm.

It had benefits in some ways though. Unlike the guys working 4 10s or 5 8s through the week, I was only working 36 hours a week including half hour lunch breaks(but getting paid for 42). And it gave me the rest of the week off.

But it sucked. Everyone I know would get weekends off and I'd have to work. And I realized then that I'm not a guy for long hours. A 12 hour shift of hard manual labour is just not my thing...I'd feel so drained, so stressed by the end of the weekend...getting maybe 4 hours sleep a night.

I have developed the ability to sleep through whatever I feel like.

The only thing I dont like about sleeping until 2pm, is that shit like going to the bank is a pain in the ass.

Well If I have been drinking or smoking weed, then I can sleep through any kind of noise. But i like the day shift still the best.

I'm loading up my last hitter for the night. Gonna watch a southpark on my computer, take a few hits, drink a glass of milk and go to bed. I'll be puffin as soon as I submit this post. :bongload:

Don't feel like reading all this thread...

Just bought some more ties, they're pretty slick. Started working for Vector Marketing (Cutco cutlery if you know what it is) a couple days ago, seems pretty tight so far. The pay should be good, hit my first promotion two days ago so I'm kind of pumped.

How's everyone else been?
