Have a few drinks, it's helping to get me into a extremely nice state... despite the shitty beer I'm drinking. (Natty Ice :argh:)

Hey there bro! Well the NE06 gathering is coming up in June. We were supposed to have a LNC tent this year. Not too sure if any of the LNCers are going. I'm going to try to make it however not going to put my name down until I'm sure I'll be there. My uncle Tony (MrSinister) may come along also. He joined up here a few weeks ago and is really enjoying posting so far.

Going to get my fishing license within the next few weeks and hit up the lake. Havent been fishing in a few years, got to get a new pole, and tackle. How about yourself, anything interesting going on?

shit man.. that would be awesome if you could make it to that gathering. I'm on the west coast..so there's no chance of me making it.

as for me.. things are going well. I'm getting into shape.. hoping to run my first marathon in sept. Ive been learning a LOT as of late. Music wise... things are really falling into place. I can feel myself changing.. and really truly seeing the math/art mix in music. I know for a fact that i want to devote my life to it. I'm thinking about majoring in Electronic music..or getting into a compositional program(which would take alot of catching up on theory)

Sounds pretty deep bro! I'm happy for you that everything is piecing together nicely. You sound pretty confident and dedicated with what you want to do. Does the school you are currently attending have an electronic music program or are you going to have to transfer to somewhere else? Also, best of luck in that marathon. :chugbeer:

the marathon should be amazing. I'm finding working out/running helps a ton with self esteem and over all well being.(at least in my case)

As for music.. I'm going to transfer from my community college in a year. CSULB (which is down the street from where i live) has a very nice compositional program. But I don't think I'm going to be ready to learn about orchestration in a year. I'm not classically trained.. so that could be a major problem.

I heard about an electronic music program in San Fransisco. Sounds very interesting.. I also wouldn't mind majoring in music theory. Whatever choice.. i want to make sure i can get the most out my bachelors degree... I want more then just a piece of paper.

If you really put your mind to it and break your balls preparing + studying I'm sure you could tackle it head on. However I don't really know anything about it, just speaking in general.

Most definitely man. Your head is in the right place. The paper means a lot to potential employers but in all reality it means jack shit. I've heard quite a few pieces of your work and from talking with you I honestly don't think you're going to have a problem. Just keep your head out of the clouds and your eye on the prize, which is swallowing as much knowledge as you possibly can in your time at school. :yesnod:

That's cool you are getting into shape. I've got to start exercising again myself. Is it really that awarding mentally?

If I disappear I'll catch up with you later on bro, the opiate + beer combo is starting to get the best of me, going to lay down here shortly but I'll be sure to check the thread when I get up tomorrow. :sun:

well.. for me. i used to not get anything out of it.

I was sitting in my room one night...and it dawned on me.  I got had to get into some sort of shape.  That was about 1 1/2 ago.

I find running/working out to be a way of letting go of the days stress. A quite time to reflect on the days matters..or whatnot.  And of course feeling good about myself during the day.  Ive always been a bit self conscious about my body.  Its nice having that of my mind.

forgive this post. I just smoked a bowl..after a bit of a break..  and its taken me about 15min to write it.  :frown:

I do that all the time. Often I'll just give up on trying to post after spending ten futile minutes trying to properly phrase some insignifigant nonsense.
