You know Carisoprodol is only ""slightly soluble"" in water and very soluble in alcohol. Codeine on the other hand is very suluble in water and only slightly soluble in alcohol. Is there an easy way to seperate the two?

That would be very nice. You would be able to eat a very nice dose of pure codeine and save the soma for another time.

Hello all, too lazy to read through all the pages of this. Just finished coming down from an awesome trip today. Ever have one of those trips that was just exactly what the doctor ordered? It was 4-5 grams of cubes and copes picked last night. My first time making a shroom tea actually after years of just eathing them straight up. Decided to call the most amazing girl I have ever met after the peak and patched up some bs between us. HAHA also emailed my professor right before the peak about some stupid speech I missed b/c I overslept this morning (oops). I wonder if that email made any sense at all. I'll probably have some explaining to do when he emails me back "huh, none of that was remotely coherent" :wink:. How's everyone doing this evening.

dude this is like the expertise of my field.. i couldnt tell you off the top of my head.. im a bit tired and what not.. but im seriously going to write this down and do some equations and ill find u a way to come up with pure codeine.. it shouldnt be hard AT ALL

Capn is the one with the somas however if I ever run into the situation down the road myself it would be extremely helpful to know.

I'd only be interested in extracting the codeine because you can't take too high of a dose of the carisoprodol whereas you can have a lot of fun with the codeine on its own.

wow nice to have someone near by.. kinda wierd.. and matt the formula for codeine is C18H21NO3.. which could be found easily on erowid.. tomorrow im just going to have to look into what exactly "pure" codeine would be.. since the whole compound is called codiene in itself however im sure there are ingredients which are not neccessary and could be removed.. this shit just interest the hell out of me!
