Seems about as much information as has leaked from the 9/11 case. You don't even have to conceal something from everyone to keep the general public in the dark, simply because most people are rather inattentive. Note that I'm not saying that 9/11 was perpetrated by the government(I'm not saying it wasn't, either), but simply pointing out that secrecy does not have to be absolute to be effective. The Manhattan Project managed to achieve its goal, did it not?

The two do not even compare:

Manhattan Project - Klaus Fuchs writes the Soviet Union and says that he is part of a team of physicists working on a plan to build an atomic bomb.

Now, can you point me to where a member of "the 9/11 conspiracy" has contacted a foreign government and indicated they were part of a plot to destroy the twin towers?

No...the Manhattan Project failed to achieve the goal of providing atomic weapons to the US and no one else. It defacto provided weapons to the Soviet Union as well.
