one of my best friends in college was schizo, dude was awesome as hell..

The thing I love about schizos is that they generally have a really wild and fun sense of humor, and are also quite intelligent. They see aspects of the universe beyond the ordinate, and that is when they open the door to psychosis. They become too smart for their own good, and spin in circles.

One of my friends for example, has been diagnosed with schizophrenia that is focused specifically on synchronicity. You know how you get that on acid or ketamine, all the connections in the world in relation to you, but then you eventually come down off the drug?  Well, that area of brain activity that makes all those connections never stopped, and now he continually sees relationships that are albeitly quite thought-provoking, but really only sensical to him. But maybe, if I knew more about his past it would make sense to me too. Maybe it only doesn't make sense to me because I don't know that much about him.

My schizophrenia actually had more of a paranoid-schizoid flavor to it. It's a very long story that originally stemmed from a real-life event, and just got out of control... I don't feel like explaining all the details of it just yet because it would literally take pages... but my point is that psychiatrists are so quick to prescribe ineffective medications, without ever taking the time to actually find the origin of where a mental disorder has begun.

The reality is, anybody can go schizophrenic, or "crazy" as they call it, in the right circumstances.

I discontinued taking all my meds the last time I was in the clinic, because they were shit, and weren't working. I was pissed off with them just drugging me, making me weak, so I would basically comply with whatever they said. And they treated me like shit for refusing the meds, but you know what, I know what's best for my body & mind, not them. 

I worked hard, and counselled my own self, to make "the voices" go away. And you know what? They eventually disappeared... I did it all on my own, by consciously dissecting and analyzing and backtracking where it was all stemming from, so I could direct myself back to normality.  repeating the therapy that I needed to hear over and over until it was ingrained.  This shows that if you delve into the story of each schizophrenic, PTSD, bipolar person's life, and ask them all the details of what they are feeling/hearing, and where it originally stemmed from... then bit by bit, the story unfolds. This is the way to truly heal somebody who has gone off the deep end.

Wow I went off on a tangent.  Sorry a bit there... this is kind of an important issue for me thats all...

However, with bipolars man, I am not even ready to go there hahaha... they will have to have somebody else handle their stories cause DAMN are they manic... completely irrational people who cannot control their emotions. I am not fucking with bipolars haha seriously if you let them into your personal life you are fucked. hands down.

my crazy ex, not to be confused with my less-crazy-but-still-nuts exes..  I don't think anything she remembers about our relationship is accurate.  Over the years, here and there, I've heard bits and pieces of what she honestly believes to have happened, and there's not a lick of it that meshes with reality.
And then there was the day she invited me over to come hang out in her room, I sat down next to her, and all of a sudden she started hitting me and screaming..  :rolleyes:  and then got even MORE pissed because I didn't respond to it in any way.
