The dead seldom speak, as for most of the living they dont shut up, but thats alright most of the time, most of the living I can deal with without complaint.
Josh just woke up. He had been asleep for almost 18 hours, I imagined he had been up all night in the shop on the internet whacking off to "ratemybody.com" again. He shuffled past me, he stank, his breath reeked with 4 or 5 days of plaque build up, about 3 cans copinhegan and brushing neglect. He spoke to me, putting his arm around my shoulders and invading my space.

"Its bad enough I have to sleep across from him, why does he have to touch me?" I thought bitterly.

He still had that pathetic helpless sedated pig look about his face, his waking up face. He always looked like that when he woke up, no matter how long or short his sleep was. His face almost made me pity him, but it didnt. Not quite.
His arm was still clasped tightly around my shoulders and his face was still in mine.

"There is a knife in my pocket." I thought with the hint of a smile. The really good knife I bought in Thailand.
In an instant I had it open and in his face, cutting his fucking eye out of his head, he wailed and covered the bleeding wound with the hand that was invading my privacy. Blood gushed down his cheek and dripped off his chin in crimson rivlets. The sound that eye made as the blade entered was exquisite, a sublte popping crunch, like cracking an egg or stepping on a fat juicy beetle.
I shuddered.

But no, it didnt happen like that at all.
He stole my knife some months back.

Oh the power of imagination.

He stole it because why?
Oh yes, Josh had this nasty habit of waking me up at 4 or so in the morning when I was trying to sleep. He just wouldnt take the hint, A punch to the mouth or death grip on his throat whenever I was startled awake because he wanted to know what time it was or if I had a cigarette for him wasnt deterent, he thought it was funny, thougt he was being clever and cute. He had that childish mentality and begged for attention like a 7 year old.
Christ Josh your almost 22. Fucking shitneck.
I remember sleeping with a razor sharp knife open under my pillow. Ready for the next time, I had warned and threatened enoguh, it was time to take some action.
I remember stabbing him quite deeply when he nudged me awake that first night I had that unexpected blade under my pillow.
I remember stabbing him twice on seperate occasions.
The first time I got him in the shoulder, the second time, a few days later I gave him a pretty little mark on the forearm about 4 inches long. He is a bleeder. Fucking bled the the stuck pig he was.
I remember him leaving me alone.
I remember not being able to find my knife.
I remeber how close he is to me this instant and how I want to cut him once or twice more but instead push him away from me and tell him to bush his teeth and wash his ass.
He is a loathesome creature who has no firends, no ability to make friends. He pushes himself and his presence upon everybody, has to touch everybody he talks to in some manner.
He has to go.
But instead I go.
Put the thought or him away and go watch the sunset.
The sunset never gets old.

Don't let your roommate (I think) bother you that much. If he touches you again tell him you're going to kill him in his sleep. That'll stop the bastard.
