Reading Before Asking...What A Concept!

I'll post this here, and not in OTD b/c not everybody goes to OTD.
But I think its funny (and don't get me wrong,I do this too) we come on here, and ask questions, and post pics, (which is good) but man, EVERYTHING HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED! Pics to show you EXACTLY whats going on with your shit... Are already uploaded! All the TEKS, all the Ingredients, and the SHortcuts, all the sterilization, LC, FAE,
Contam's ITS ALL HERE ALREADY! EVERY F'KIN THING!
THere is NO reason to post a question about ANYTHING!
Just search.
I feel like the biggest retard sometimes... I'll post a question,
and before I even get a reply I've already found the info!
Why do you think we do that?

because ppl are lazy and lazy ppl like to be lazy, i prefer to read rather then post, i have actualy been coming to this site since 01, but i only registered last year, ppl should really take the time to read instead of posting stupid shit like "i just inoculated my pf jars yesterday and and theres no mycelium growing yet did i fuck up?"

Sometimes people just need some support, someone to tell 'em that their grow is fine. It's more reassuring than reading through old threads.

Has anyone proposed an intermediate growers forum?
One with no cake questions. It seems that there's only a noob forum, an extremely advanced forum and nothing in the middle.

Sometimes people need clarity of asking specific questions, instead of reading 1000 different TEKs with 1000 different ways of doing things. Not only that, but when people want to merge different TEKs together questions arise.

Quit being a bitch, message boards are for asking questions, if you dont want to answer them, dont come to the boards! WHAT A CONCEPT!

I don't know about you guys but I can't wait to get home from work to read the posts here at the Shroomery. I rush to my computer room and frantically scan the forums for a repeat question or one that I deem stupid, so that I can type "DO A SEARCH NEWBIE"!!! It gives me a real hard on and makes me feel so superior when I do that.
Imagine if some one did that several years ago to one of the mega contributors here like RR, Hyp, or Agar and drove them off to another hobby, posting site, or seclusion. Imagine what a void that would have created at the shroomery. So next time you type one of your "do a search" posts, keep in mind that you could be alienating a future RR or Agar. Anyways RR looks like an old fart from his video and Agar sounds even older, both probably won't be around forever, so why the big urge to alienate all the incoming posters?

dutchmushroom is right. people are lazy and want the quick fix. people feel bad about themselves and take pills to alter chemicals in their brains rather than eating healthy and exercising. people here ask questions that they can easily look up because they know that people will answer.

Yeah I feel you. I posted about the mycelium syringe tek the other day and felt like a moron when I did the search on the bottom of the forum and it answered my question plus more. I love the search it wasn't until a few weeks ago that I found out about the search on the bottom of the page. All the answers are right there every tek, and everything else. Anyway happy searching!
