do you have tape on the lids? if so that may be the problem. or else be sure that the temp is in the right range , about 85F. i had a few that slowed but it was due to low temp.

It sounds like your problem is probably gas exchange. The mycelium needs a little oxygen to finish up. Untape your jars, so that the holes in the lid are exposed, and flip the jars over onto their lids. The built up CO2 is heavier than oxygen, and so oxygen will flow in. Good Luck,

I think u should had warned me something....
i didnt had vermiculite seal and i left my jars opened for about 1 hour.... probably im screwed up.....

yes, you probably did screw up. however, I have had partially uncolonized cakes that I put directly in the terrarium and they finished colonization without contamination. Hopefully your mycellium grow swiftly enough for the contams to lose out. keep a close eye on your cakes now.

You not TOTALLY fucked airdog..
If your lucky no contams got "attached" to your substrate..
I would put some tejp on again and hope that there was sufficents gas exchange to speed up the colonization...
