Penn vs Pulver
    #7088691 -

That was a good fight! I had a strong feeling that BJ was gonna win; he just looked fit and determined.

Did anyone else catch it?

fixed mma bouts now?  I highly doubt it.

I caught the fight.  It was decent.

Jens was MUCH smaller and was right worn out.

Near the end he was giving his arm up, ridiculously so, along with his neck, but only because he was clearly tired.  With BJ on top, he just wasn't able to do anything about it...he seemed SO much smaller.

Jens not the same fighter he used to be imo.

He used to have some of the best takedown defense of any fighter...I dunno where the hell that went.

It's like he abandoned his illustrious wrestling ability to devote himself to boxing. Kind of a mistake. Straight boxing is not really that good of a skill to have for MMA. Guys like Rampage, Rogerio Nogueira, fall victim to the leg kicks time and time again.

If you thought it looked strange it's because BJ was just toying with Jens. I wanted Jens to win but I didn't expect him too.

i thought it was anti-climactic. i expected more stand-up and more blood. i absolutely knew penn was going to win. and it seemed like he passed up a few submissions on purpose during the fight. like he really wanted to beat up pulver. you could tell it was personal.

Yesterday upon the stair, I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today. I wish, I wish he'd go away.
