Hughes knocking out GSP? If we were betting I'd take you for all you had.

Dude like i said my personal belief, nothing else..

Plus after watching GSP on UF4 i hope he gets KOed because the man was there to scout other fighters he might have to face if he beat Hughes.. People bag on Rich Franklin for not wanting to train people, and scouting the fighters on UF4, yet GSP who was the fucking trainer was doing the same shit. So fuck GSP, and i am going to enjoy watching Matt Hughes beat him..

I'd say
Hughes over GSP
Sylvia over Monson

Other than that I don't really care.

Yep KOTT you're right, even though his last two fights, Gracie, and Penn were both TKO on strikes.

What i should have said was Hughes over GSP on a submission... Ummm maybe an Armbar like the last time they fought.

But the question is, is GSP going to show this time, or is he mystery injured again?.. I heard BJ Penn, or Shonnie Carter would be glad to take his place again..  :smirk:

Well we will just have to agree to disagree on the GSP Vs Hughes fight, KOTT.  We agree on the rest of the card, and i am very happy to have another person who agrees about Brandon Vera  being a future star of the UFC HW divison.

Personally i think it will be a good fight,  between GSP and Hughes, and may the better man win.  Because after Matt Serra win the UF4 this Sat, he will get his shot at one of them, and i am pulling for my NY Italian to take it away..

Welterweight Championship bout: Matt Hughes vs. Georges St. Pierre -- Hughes by TKO

Heavyweight Championship bout: Tim Sylvia vs. Jeff Monson --Monson by submission

Heavyweight bout: Brandon Vera vs. Frank Mir -- Mir by Submission

Lightweight bout: Joe Stevenson vs. Mark Hominick -- Stevenson by TKO

Light Heavyweight bout: Michael Bisping vs. James Irvin -- Bisping

Welterweight bout: Nick Diaz vs. Graison Tibau --- Diaz by tko

Welterweight bout: Karo Parysian vs. Jake Shields -- parysian by ko

Hughes will smash that canadian but I'm expecting a good fight.

I hate Sylvia with a passion, Monson will dominate this queer on the ground.

Brandon Vera will loose this fight, Mir is too experienced and he is more prepared for this fight than his last.

My niggah from Indianapolis is going to get that title fight.

I think he means he fears for Vera's life now that Aleksander is coming over to the UFC.

Yeah I hate Sylvia too, but I'm having my doubts that Monson will be able to take him down, with the size advantage and the fact that one thing Sylvia does seem to have going for him is good take down defense. Oh well, we'll see this Saturday, I will be rooting for Monson though.

i doubt mir will be able to submit vera, whose a competition submission grappler himself.

and I pick Jake Shields as the heavy favorite over karo parsyan. Shields is a stud after winning the ROTR tournament.

I dunno, Parysian is quite studly himself, but that should be a good fight. I'm looking forward to the undercard here.

I really don't think Monson can get in close enough to Sylvia, but I will say if Sylvia goes to his back the fight is over.

do you know who jake shields is?

i'm surprised so many people give karo the edge. Jake's been the hottest free agent the past year.

I guess it's hard for people who don't follow events outside of the UFC. ROTR's a small org but they've always managed to snag top rated competition.

Shields is only one of two fighter to beat the dangerous akira kikuchi. he's fought and done very well against the best SHOOTO has to offer. Karos good but his wins have all come against decent but not spectacular fighters. Considering his stock really rose after his win over Diaz. Beating Lytle and Serra in the manner he did really wasn't all that impressive.

I just saw the gambling lines and i'm placing $300 on Shields. We'll wait and see i guess.

Looks like Mark Hominick, Michael Bisping, Karo Parysian, and Jake Shields will not be there tonight.
