hey all...
ok this is what my friend is up to... he followed the coir tekk to the T...thin layer on bottom, crumbled up 1/2 PR cake.. and coir on top.. ok he let it sit with the top on to incubate an aditional 3 days(to recover) and when he removed it from the incubation to the fruiting, he noticed the entire top layer of coir was colonized..(overlay he assumed) so he sterilized more coir and patched it up.. now its been 4 days since tat day, and it colonized again.. the conditions are optimal, light source is there and fanning alot... so he decided to post some pics of what it looks like.. anyone help me out?? does this look normal?

cant tell...looks like way too much casing colonization though...its called overlay...

should he sprinkle more coir on top of that? and see what happens? or is he at risk for damaging something.. thanks.
