I'm a newb, but I gotta say that developing a better casing discarding procedure is a good idea. Your missed intentions highlight the flaw of the current procedure. Do what you want, but still...

Everything you grow shrooms with is flushable, man. Just do it in small batches, breaking it up well. The only exception I make is for contaminated material (flushing something with mold would pretty much douse your living space in spores).

Blutjagar I don't know where you live but in the city I live in people put cameras on their dumpsters.  Not everywhere of course but a lot of places.  The reason is unscrupulous people will dump all manner of things in someone else's dumpster such as dangerous and toxic materials, large furniture, or their own garbage to avoid the charges of removal. 

Now if your goal is to not get pinched by the law it might not be in your best interest to be caught on camera throwing away boxes into someone else's dumpster.  Then have them checking out the boxes and calling the law on you for illegal dumping. 

If you just can't stand dumping in your own trash here are some ideas.  First never never never have your car even near the building where you are dumping.  Second cover you face as well as possible, wear a ball cap, grow out your beard, wear sunglasses etc.  Another thing, is cardboard wise?  It could have your skin samples and fingerprints on it.  Apartment complexes are one place that doesn't often watch their dumpsters well if at all.  It works especially well if the complex has buildings where the apartments have the doors on the inside of the building with two or more main entry points that are publicly accessible i.e. they don't have key required entry.  College campuses complexes are frequently like this.  Now as you can imagine one should park at a different building walk to the next building walk through the building then exit it nearest the dumpster.  One would then dump their trash.  Then go back in the building and exit on the opposite side. They would then walk back to their car at the other building and be on their way. 

Of course as I said you never know if your being filmed so I don't advise dumping in other peoples trash.  Instead of getting busted for one thing now your busted for two things.  I'm sure Bubba your 350lb weightlifting sodomizing cell mate will appreciate the extra time you get to spend with him though.  So do as you like. :tongue:

Once you been doing this for a while your bound to get a few of those.

This one was forgotten in dark corner of room, under a dresser with less than 20% humidity, NO FAE and NO light! LOL



This is scrap casing material I threw in old cooler and left around with piled up garbage to throw away another day when my procractination sickness was at it's low. House humidity was around 40%.... :mushroom2:




Psilocybe are a strong species.

I have never seen a camera on a dumpster but you can bet I'm gonna have a closer look now,most of my boxes get thrown out in the big dumpsters behind assorted business or fast food joints,either that or just drive down an ally and find a place to toss it

I had this happen to me once but I put them in a separate trash bag getting ready to goto the dump and I forgot about them for about a week. As I was carrying them down stairs I noticed something swaying, and to my surprise about another 40g dry :smile:
